Membership terms at Boardnames

Terms for candidates:

• • Membership at Boardnames is free of charge.
  • Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • Candidates are responsible for keeping their information up to date.
  • All supplied information is available for administrators at Boardnames.
  • Boardnames may contact candidates personally to verify their information, to clarify whether they are open to specific inquiries or not and to obtain permission to share their names and contact information.
  • Boardnames will not share the name and contact information of a candidate with a client without the candidate’s permission.
  • Candidates being contacted directly by employers/clients about board positions are obliged, when realizing they have been identified through this platform, to inform Boardnames about this.
  • Boardnames may send e-mails with reminders, changes of the service etc. to all registered members, but will keep it at a minimum.
  • Boardnames has the right to remove a user if user is found to abuse their membership or if the user is deemed unfit for other formal reasons.
  • Candidates may delete their profile and all belonging documents at any time and for any reason on their profile page.

Terms for clients

• • Membership at Boardnames is free of charge.
  • Clients are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • Clients are responsible for keeping their information up to date.
  • All supplied information is available for administrators at Boardnames.
  • Boardnames may contact clients directly to validate and obtain supplementary information.
  • Boardnames will only provide candidate names and contact information on the basis of submitted request forms and after clarification from candidates.
  • When a candidate is identified by a client through Boardnames and the candidate is appointed, whether on a board or elsewhere, the client accepts being billed according to Boardnames’ terms and conditions. The valid terms and conditions will be provided on acceptance of membership.
  • Boardnames may send e-mails with reminders, changes to the service etc. to all registered clients.
  • Boardnames has the right to terminate and remove a client if the membership is being abused or the client is found to be unfit for formal or other reasons.
  • Clients may request deletion of their profile at any time and for any reason. If the client has commitments to Boardnames at that time, the account will first be made inactive, and then deleted when the commitments have been settled. If the client has no commitments to Boardnames at the time of the request, the account will be deleted immediately.
